The BSA Lightning XL SE is based on the standard BSA Lightning but boasts an improved stock and slimline silencer.

Stock is made by Minelli in Italy out of beech, and is then finished in a dark stain to accentuate the grain. Checkering is engraved to the forestock and pistol grip for an improved grip, especially in wet conditions, and a rubber butt pad is fitted to the rear to achieve a comfortable shoulder position.

The BSA Lightning XL combines this excellent power source with the classic BSA aesthetics to create a rifle which has excellent handling with the performance to back it up. The barrel is a BSA Cold Hammer Forged barrel which have been proven over the years to be extremely accurate and consistent making this a great hunting and target shooting rifle.

This is the BSA Lightning XL SE model which has a metal shrouded barrel which is threaded with a ½inch UNF thread for the fitting of an additional silencer, whilst the shroud provides a solid foundation for the cocking and loading function. Scope and Mounts not included.
